Or ... Out to the World
HERE'S HOW !!!

B) You can link from Selected Text or from a Graphic.

C) Highlight some Text or click on a graphic.

D) While it is highlighted, go up to Composer's ToolBar and click on LINK.

E) A box called "Character Properties" comes up.  Left click on "Choose File"

F)  In the new box, Link to File, find the document (.wpd) that you want to link to, and double click on that document.

G) The location of the document gets written into the box.

H) Click on "APPLY" and then on "CLOSE".

I) You are now in COMPOSER and a Hand appears over your highlighted text or graphic when you place the cursor over it.

J) Go up and click on "SAVE".  Then go to "PREVIEW".

K) Now you are in Netscape, and you can try out your link by clicking on the text or graphic.  It will link you to your saved WordPerfect document.

2. Linking to Pages on the Internet

A) Again, you can link from your Home Page through Highlighted Text or a Graphic.

B) Go to the Internet and find a page you like.

C) You can BookMark it for further reference, but don't save the page to your hard drive.  We are only interested in the page's address so we can get to it on the Internet.

D) Go to the Location Box in Netscape and Highlight the address.

E) Once highlighted, hold down the "Ctrl" Key and press the "C" key on the keyboard.  You have now made a "COPY" of the address onto the Windows Clip Board.

F) Bring the COMPOSER page back up.

G) Highlight the text or graphic that you want to link to that Internet Page.

H) While highlighted, go up to Composer's ToolBar and click on LINK.

I) A box called "Character Properties" comes up.  Notice the flashing cursor in the long box.  It is ready to take the Internet address.

J) Hold down the "Ctrl" key while pressing the "V" key on the keyboard.  Watch as you make a "PASTE" of the Internet address into the box

K) Click on "APPLY" and then on "CLOSE".

L) You are now in COMPOSER and a Hand appears over your highlighted text or graphic when you place the cursor over it.

M) Go up and click on "SAVE".  Then go to "PREVIEW".

N) Now you are in Netscape, and you can try out your link by clicking on the text or graphic.  It will link you to the saved Internet Page.
